Sold : Musicman Stingray 1979
dafonky
Selling my special 1979 Stingray All original with an supplementary neck pickup , same size than the original MM.
Far better than a Sabre, because neck pickup is in a different position and Stingray pickups are bigger than Sabre PU‘s. Handmade electronics which you can‘t buy anywhere...active /passive switch , mid cut /boost and pickup coil switch : you can use this MM as a Jazzbass, only with the outside or inside single couls of the humbucker PU !
Very versatile bass, you have the original Stingray sound and the correct 60‘ies and 70‘ies Jazzbass sound in ONE instrument. Perfect for studio bass players and for live gigs.
The handmade elctronics delivers exactly the same sound as the original preamp, completely noiseless .
Neck, frets, trussrod and lacquer in perfect shape.
4,2 kg
Shipping is no problem in a gigbag or hardcase.
Thanks for looking
