Thanks Andre, I know its difficult to tell from this type of recording, but it seems like the bass is back up in the mix compared to other recordings of recent.

Well not really, from where my friend was standing ;) the guitar was practically inaudible and the bass was a bit to the left but meaty!

I agree with Andre, when I saw L42 on the second date of the tour (Glasgow), the sound was pretty ropey to say the least. It did improve as the night went on but not by much. I think the sound guy must have had boxing gloves on when he was mixing.

Seriously though, you'd have thought by the time they reached the last few shows on the tour the sound guy would have had the sound well and truely nailed??

It was only during the last couple of songs that you could really hear the bass.

agreed ron ,the sound in plymouth was poor really the sound guy was pushing the rig to breaking point quite a few poeple go up and left buy the second song!,they were proper loud ,not ac,dc lound but louder than i thought they would be ,i like it myself but there was no clarity just poorly controlled mushy volume shame really as the playing seemed tight

Have to disagree there, I think Fashion Fever is one of L42's weakest tracks.

Apologies Todd, but I think L42 have so many great songs they could have included in the set-list instead of Fashion Fever!! I know for a fact that Phil G couldn't stand that track.

The sound in Manchester on the 1st night of the tour
was great (from where I was sitting anyway)
Have to agree about "Fashion fever"
they have much better songs in their back catalogue.
Maybe they just wanted to play a different set for
a change.

Not the best opening track, Heaven in my hands still is for me.

Still liking the look of the MKII but I would love to hear it with a decent amp set up, Ashdowns are just so lame with a capital F in my book.

Mark get the OLD Trace's out of storage or try EBS, you have so many great basses but they are being played through shite amps, this is not the way to go. imho .
