thanks for being positive guys i know I'm not as good as most people on here the status basses I've owned have been sublime to play and look fantastic !!
i mainly play my bass at church so no slapping allowed really no call for it lol.

These vids show off those lovely basses, whatever. On the playing, I'd say just go for it. I get the feeling that nerves might be playing a part. Just dig in and say what the hell. I like moo's theory too. That's why I can't play a dorian mode over a G diminished chord, if I knew what that meant.
