No longer want trade with standard Kingbass

I've got a standard Kingbass 5 string that is absolutely mint. I'm finding that the small body size doesn't really suit me very well, also I'm not really a 5 string player although I do play 6 string ;)

I would consider trade with a mint S2 thru neck 4 headed or headless.

Anything considered.

If you're interested pm me, I want a Status that I play and to be honest that isn't happening with the Kingbass.

If there's anyone out there who's interested in buying the Kingbass then please pm me.

I don't feel that I can let it go for any less than I paid for it, which was a reasonable price in itself..

Ergonomically it is unusual, look at MK playing any of his basses and you will see what I mean, even the JayDee he uses at Wembley. It is well balenced but the left hand has to extend a la MK

It's a 5 which is slightly dufferent and it has new Status strings fitted and comes with the Status Hiscox case.

Great condition, athough the photos have highlighted where it need a polish ;)

One thing I learnt at the Bash, is Im best sticking to 4 Strings.:D

I would like to have a go on a King Bass one Day. I quite like the idea of the smaller body

I know what you mean, I had two Kings (fretted and fretless) and could not play them due to my arms measuring less than 2 meters each :-)

And the irony is Andre that MK is a very small guy:o

If you can get used to having your hand such a long way from your body it must be fine. I could persevere and if it was a 4 string probably would.

I happen to be a fairly large guy, and small bodied basses just look silly on me, something like a toy hanging off my neck. :(

Other than the Hofner in my collection, my Eclipse has probably the smallest body and I do wish it were a bit larger, but one can't have everything of course and this certainly doesn't stop me from stepping on stage with it.

I really like the look of the Kingbass, even though headless, but the body size alone would stop me from buying one.

The Kingbass will be heading for a new home in Northampton later this week, to join all the other's in that 'City of basses'

I'm going to be Statusless for the time being but hopefully not for long. I'm not leaving here.

New 4 string on the way which might qualify as the most gorgeous bass I've ever seen. It's 35" scale - any guesses?

Did I buy another bass ?

Not me this time, which makes a change :) though I seem to remember Colin was after a Kingbass
