Hi,

can the King Bass or the King II bass fit in a rock band? Listening to youtube King vids you allways hear that sequencer together with the org. bass sound.
Cheers, Ingo

Yes, I've played one many times in a rock/pop band. The sound cuts straight through the mix like any Status bass. Very gritty sound. Enjoy!

Hey there Gobezzerk,

I beleive, Black Sabbath's Dehuminizer CD, Geezer Butler used a Status bass along side a Vigier. If Geezer used a Status, well rest assured, any Status will cut through quite well in any rock venue setting. With the proper EQ & amp set up, you should not have any problems.

Good luck,

Don.:o

A Vigier does it without problems! It has got less graphite in its neck.

Depends when it was produced!!

My early Arpege had a full on graphite neck like a Status however they very quickly moved on to the 90/10... Basically a 90% wooden neck with a 10% graphite 'rod' going through it!

My Arpege was beautiful... The slimmest neck ever!
