Hello,
Many of you may recognise my username from Basschat (and all the previous incarnations back to Bassworld) but I am a relatively new convert to the benefits of marrying graphite and wood and hence a newbie here.
I'm currently building a MM Stingray clone using a Status neck and am GAS'sing like mad for an S2 headless five string after hearing Jaz Lochries tone on the Bad Company DVD.
As far as bass playing goes, I'm a bit of a classic rocker and am currently putting a new covers band together up here in the North East as well as depping regularly for one of the bigger cover bands on the local scene.

Welcome jpj. Unfortunately you're third in the que for a used fiver.
There are not nearly enough Statii in the North East. I'm only one mile from the border so I just about qualify.
