What is this one. Claims to be S2 Classic? Never seen one like that before? Neither does it look like any series 2 I have ever seen. Tailplate looks all wrong. Am I missing something? I am sure it is kosha, just looks like some hybrid I have never come across? Anyone shed any light on it?

Looks like an Empathy to me.

I think you may be right. Just checked on the DataBass and there is an Empathy with that bridge cover, though the knob configuration is different, but there is another empathy with the 5 controls like that.

Thanks

Yes, a latterday Empathy. Here it is in the catalogues.

Someone should really bring this back home from the States!

Though after adding customs/taxes to the price we can scrap the word 'bargain' :(

Some bits of the description leave a bit to be desired. "One Piece Graphite Composite Construction"?????
"Status Mono-rail Bridge Tuners"????
Hmmm! :(

Hmmm... Copied and pasted from the Status website, no doubt :) Rob still uses that hardware design for the John Edwards "Charger" model.

Yes, agreed - It's an Empathy. I like the red tinted graphite. Price is good, too.
