Absolute blast of a weekend! Great 42 gig on sat night then met some amazing people and basses on sunday. Great to see Darren, Hayley, Rob and Dawn at the gig, and thanks to Moo, Todd, Rich, Fran, Danny, Darren, Hayley, Andre and Patrick (and the guy in the red shirt who had the rosewood standard that looked so much like my artist, reckon it could have been from the same wood!? - so sorry forgot your name!!!) such a wicked day. Todd the pics of my basses are so amazing, that Rosewood bass of mine has waited 8 or so years for pics like that, and it has also waited the same time for somebody like Patrick to play it properly! Darren im gonna try n perfect that crazy slap thing you were doing; f***ing insane! Seriously all of you were wonderful people to meet and talk to about music n basses, cant think of a better sunday for a long long time, cheers everyone and also thanks for listening to 'The Funk Punk' :)

London and the Statii Clan Rock !

Made it back to Minnesota, still jazzed about the 23rd show, and meeting up and chatting with some wonderful folks afterwards, is Dawn a sweetheart or what?

I feel like I left with a small whole in my soul, having missed Sunday's Statii-O-Thon, with all the basses I may never see, and brains to pick.
But having stuck with my wife Molly for the day, I was fortunate enough to have kept an eye on her. As we were enjoying a pint at a quaint little pub, a half dozen British Army Special Forces fellows stopped in with some free time to indulge. They were a stitch, but smooth and flirtatious with the woman in the place.

I can't wait to see more of Todd's stellar photos, and look forward to another get together some day.

Thanks All,

Molly and Volney (Me4Bass)

The Conklin GT7BD is currently tuned down a whole step A-D-G-C-F-Bb-Eb. When its fired up it sounds like Odin with heartburn.:D

Nice one Andre ()

I have apparently had my address book hijacked, I am suspecting either Moo is trying to make me hate PC's as well as Mac or I picked it up using a public WiFi in my travels :@ First time its happened, apologies to anyone affected.

A few more pictures I found interesting.......
