HI, Im only new to the forum and forgive me if I have posted in the wrong place, I would like to purchase a used Status and I need a bit of advice on the purchase of a Status Energy 4 string bass that is on another site for sale, natural wood and active pickups, made in 1990's. The asking price is £335 and I need to know is this reasonable and is there anything I need to watch out for?
Thanks for taking time to read this.
Cheers Ferg

Hi Ferg and welcome!
They are normally around the £300 mark, no major issues or faults, the only one I often hear of is where previous owners mess with the pickup or pot wiring, if it's all original there should be no issues, the necks are stable and the energy's sound great!
Good luck, if you get it we want pictures and a full account of it's playability.... Happy New Year

£300-450 for a good one is a fair price so I'd say that was worth looking at. There have been a number of sellers trying to move on cheaper Status basses recently for prices that are way too much so watch out.
