what year is my bass

hi. im buying a series 2000 can any one tell me the year and a rough valuation. the no is 138. its a clean bass and has origonal flight case. i would appreciate any help. thanks bassdan

I'm afraid that's slightly out.
It will be late '86 maybe early '87
Value will depend on any special features or 'history' and obviously condition.
A bass in poor condition can be as little as £600 and a bass in top condition can be up to £1,500
