These vids show off those lovely basses, whatever. On the playing, I'd say just go for it. I get the feeling that nerves might be playing a part. Just dig in and say what the hell. I like moo's theory too. That's why I can't play a dorian mode over a G diminished chord, if I knew what that meant. :|

thanks for being positive guys i know I'm not as good as most people on here the status basses I've owned have been sublime to play and look fantastic !!
i mainly play my bass at church so no slapping allowed really no call for it lol.
