LEDs problem

Hi Chaps. just got hold of a king bass and love it, the only niggling issue is that the LEDs dont allways completely go out or come on straight away. I assume its a switch issue (as I have changed the battery) anyone else had similar things and if so how much would it cost to fix do you think?

If they are factory fitted contact Status, if they are aftermarket contact Sims.
I had a problem with the LEDs fitted on a brand spanking new Alembic they sent me an email and I rectified the fault myself although I should not of had to at least I never had to send the bass anywhere.
Could be a simple job on yours too.Good luck

It'll be the switch, they cost pence, try maplins

Thanks guys, though I dont think I could do it myself (scared of opening it up!) if its a simple job do you think a good luthier could do it? is it easy?

ded simple, your just replacing it, wire it exactly the same as the one you take out......simples

Every time I go near a soldering Iron,it dosent turn out well, gonna have to ask a "proper" bloke to do it. thanks though Dave!
