Hipshot D tuner

Has anyone ever retro fitted a Hipshot d tuner to a headed S2?
Bass is 2 years old. Any hints tips would be appreciated.

Never fitted a Hipshot on a Status, but generally be very careful not to overtighten the large nut on the front too tight or you'll crush / crack the carbon fibre.
On a wooden neck you can crank them really tight but not on a graphite neck.
Otherwise it should be easy enough to install.
