A rare one

So I bought a pretty rare Musicman Stingray about 2 years ago. It's a 20th anniversary 4 string model, built in 1996.

From my research I've found out that they made 1246 4 string 20th anniversary basses. Of that 477 were fretted with a rosewood fingerboard. They were made in two different finishes, quilted and flamed. Mine is a flamed one and if we assume that it was approx. 50/50 flamed v quilted it is one of about 235-240 made.

I've changed out the pickups for a Basslines pickups and added some straplocks. All original parts safely stored and ready to be put back in if I decide to go that direction again. It's in the original hardcase and sounds and plays like a dream.

Also not a single blemish on the bass which is pretty good for a 17 years old piece of equipment that is being used a lot in concert.
