String spacing and neck width

Hi All,

I noticed it is possible to order a S2 in five strings with the 16.5mm strong spacing as option.

Would you know if the neck is the same of the standard 18mm option in the 5 string configuration ?
And if yes, then should be theoretically possible to convert a 18mm spacing to 16.5mm by changing the bridge and maybe the top nut, right?

I am caressing the idea of the conversion

Thanks!

I would imagine the neck would be slimmer.

I think it's doable as I find the G is often too close to the edge, especially if doing a note bend. I think a standard neck could cope with 16.5 drop.
