Pick up height ?

I have a kingbass, and I'm trying to find out how high the picks should be?? So what is you measurements between pickups and strings???
The Status site has recommended pickup heights in the FAQs. Everyone has different tastes for it. Too close and it can pull the intonation out.
like my neck Pup to be about 7mm and the bridge about 4mm but everyone is different!
