Refurbish

I haven't done either but I do know full refurbs are not cheap, well into the hundreds of pounds/euros/dollars. You would be best to contact Mr. Green about the current cost and time.
Bolt-on necks should be easy enough to replace yourself as long as the bolt holes are in the same place.

Hey fellow Statiis!
After about 7 years of intensely using my beloved S2 five-string, the instruments has worn down quite a bit. The frets have suffered quite a lot and the neck took some bumps, too. So my questions are:
has anybody ever
- sent in a bass to Status for refurbishing? If yes: How long did it take and how much did it cost?
- replaced a neck himself? If yes: Is it easy to accomplish and to adjust?
