I'm the proud owner of two kingbasses (BB & Artist) and an Eclipse from the mid 80's.
The thing is that I really love the wild sound from my Eclipse (only 9v though) and now when I'm planning to build a short scale bass I like to make the correct choice from Status to get as close as possible soundwise to my Eclipse.
Which circuits, pots and pickups from Status would get me the Eclipse sound?

Tried to get info from Rob but I think he's having a busy time at the moment so he just referred to the website. So help me out here please, statusfriends.

Looking at the circuits on the site it looks like your best bet would be the Series 1 circuit. That has the bright switch that's on the Eclipse.

Best to give Mrs. Green a call at the factory. She won't bite and she can even communicate with those who don't speak her language. :D

The classic pickups would be the obvious choice to the Series 1 circuit, right?
