I am thinking about buying a Status bass - in general they seem to use the same pickups and electrics. Are there any other discernible differences ? (BTW I can't tell the difference between through neck and bolt on so I mean major differences in character).
I haven't heard one and I know comparisons are subjective but what other basses do they resemble if any? Also what musical styles do they suit the best? Also, I am pretty careful with an instrument but how does graphite respond to any knocks?
Thanks in advance for any feedback!

The graphite tends to be pretty tough, stronger than wood from my experience. The basses are very versatile and the number of models and options cover every style of music. Let us know what sound/style you are after and we will make some suggestions.
