Hi there,
As you probably can tell by my name, I own an Overwater bass:o New and expensive! I am going to be starting college this year and wanted something a bit cheaper to take to rehersals etc, and I have always fancied a Status bass (I am not saying Status' are cheaper than Overwaters, I just wanted a bass which I could buy cheap and rebuild myself.)I want something to practice my s****s of instrument repair on:D
I want something damaged which I can rebuild myself, splits cracks etc. Would prefer a six string. Open to any ideas really.
Either post here or drop me an email ;)
Thanks very much, Best Wishes!

Welcome to the site Matt,
Don't see very many damaged ones on here... Shame you missed Dr Dave's 5'er on Bassworld a few days past.

I'll keep a look out!
Status S2 5 String Fretless 'Moo-wood'
Status S1000 rebuild
Fender Strat - Fretted
Shadow Superstrat Guitar - Fretless
Ibanez RG Electric of some sort
Avalon As-101CE Electro-Acoustic Guitar

I've owned 5 Statii so far, with 2 at present....

Hey Steve,

He did email me about that bass, but it was in too good condition for what I am after. I want split necks, damaged, broken bodies etc;) It was a bloddy good looker though! A sixer like that but in worse condition and cheaper price tag would be spot on!!

Plus I couldnt afford that anyway:(

Cheers anyway mate.
