Do any of you lads use Status strings on fretless bass? Just got a nice oid 1980 Aria SB 1000 lined fretless (really nice) it's got roundwounds on it at the minute and there doesn't seem to be any wear, just a few string marks. I wanted to use something a bit les abrasive and something better for sliding, without loosing the sound of roundwounds. I see Status do some halfwounds, are they any good?
