Damon wrote: Nice work there Mr. James. I particularly like Miss Opportunity. Lovely bass sound. Well done sir. Great to see board members such as yourself and Todd putting together some really good tunes. Thumbs ahoy!
Thanks Damon. That was my old Alembo on Miss O. And I'm pretty sure my old empathy on the middle 8 part. I very much enjoy Todd's stuff too, looking forward to an album. J.
As ive aquired some studio gear recently james i think i'd better start laying some tracks down for an album bout a year to make it tho!!

daveski wrote: Good stuff James, after the sneak preview i had a year ago i'm not surprised it sounds this good! I will be downloading when back from my hols! Just an observation and tell me to F*** off if you want but a few of those tracks i reckon would lend themselves well to lyrics which would obviously make them a little more commercial = ££££££!!!!Smile
Thanks Daveski, good point about vocals, a few of the tracks did start life with lyrics and vox, but I can't stand my own voice, and I'm crap at writing lyrics. So if anyone fancies a collaboration , then maybe on the next album!? J.

Wow, never had that down as an Alembic. Was it a signature rather than a series? Whatever it was you got a great sound from it.

Always loved The Good Fellow riff, and a couple of the other tracks really sit will with the Stanley Clarke Band new cd I am listening too today as well - I can't pay it a better compliment than that! Would love to donate some lyrics if ever you fancy collaboration - just PM me. Didn't we once meet down at Bernie's in the Croydon days? Wink

It was a signature, running through an Avalon vt737. Lovely bass, but I found it to heavy to use on a regular basis. Thanks again! J.

Thanks Paul, that's very kind, i may very well be in touch for some lyrics when I start the next one. I've only ever been to Bernie's shop in Brighton , always turns out an expensive visit! J. I

Every now and again there comes along an album that leaves you feeling that everything is OK with music. For me this is one of them.
