I would fill and respray the whole thing a solid colour, get the truss rod adjusted and send the bass away for PLEK fret leveling, I think you would at least have a very useable bass after that. It would be a shame to cover up the carbon graphite but there are solid colour versions out there! http://www.plek.com/en_US/home/
